Scale 1:75

Unveiled in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Nad Zabeel is Dubai’s new Future Research, Development and Innovation Campus, developed by Dubai Future Foundation.

LIVESCALE produced a highly detailed architectural scale model that brings the project's distinctive mountain-like design into physical form, capturing the complexity of its architecture, landscaping and interconnected spaces. The model features carefully crafted stepped terraces, lush greenery, glazed façades and detailed interior environments. Miniature figures, furniture and scenes of human activity bring the architecture to life, illustrating how the various research, work and gathering spaces interact across multiple levels. Intricate pedestrian pathways, rooftop gardens and circulation routes further highlight the connections between the building's different functions and its surrounding landscape.

Developed in collaboration with L&P, the scale model served as the centrepiece of an immersive presentation environment, surrounded by large-format screens displaying cinematic architectural content. Integrated LED lighting was synchronized with the surrounding visuals, illuminating specific areas of the model as the presentation progressed. An interactive tablet-controlled system allowed presenters to highlight individual zones, explore circulation routes and guide audiences through the architecture, creating a seamless connection between the physical model and digital storytelling.

Combining precision model making, intricate architectural detailing and interactive technology, LIVESCALE transformed Nad Zabeel's architectural vision into a tangible experience, offering an engaging way to explore and understand the project's design.
